Managing Generations in the Workplace

Four Generations. One Workplace. Are You Ready to Lead?

Have you ever wondered why your Millennials crave constant feedback, while your Gen Xers guard their independence? Or why Boomers value loyalty, while your Gen Zers expect flexibility from day one? In today’s workforce, four distinct generations bring their own strengths, expectations, and communication styles to the table. When not managed intentionally, these differences can lead to miscommunication, frustration, and disengagement.

In this high-impact, practical session, you’ll learn how historical and cultural factors shaped each generation’s worldview and how those perspectives show up in the workplace. The webinar will break down these generational differences in a practical, no-nonsense way.

Join us and learn tools to help avoid misunderstandings and to turn “generational clash” into “generational synergy.”

This webinar is eligible for 1.5 hours towards ATD Recertification in the Career and Leadership track.

Upon completion of this webinar, learners will be able to:

  • Identify key characteristics, values, and communication styles associated with each of the four workplace generations: Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z.
  • Utilize tools for motivating and managing team members from different generations based on their unique needs, preferences, and work styles.
  • Develop leadership approaches that leverage generational diversity as a strength rather than a challenge in the workplace.
