Leader/Manager/Supervisor can increase focus to grow their people and drive business results. The ability to manage distraction is the most important characteristic of high performers. The problem: Employees are bombarded with internal and external distractions or interference (anything that prevents performance) that can take them off course, impacts productivity, and results. Sometimes Leaders/Managers create distractions that reduces or prevents optimal performance.

Learner Objectives
In this session, attendees will learn:

• Identify what’s at stake when employees lose focus and how focus impacts the success
• Describe the impact focus has on individual and organizational success
• Use a simple, repeatable coaching approach to help reduce interference and increase focus

Speakers: Rachel Harner and Suzanne Frawley

Rachel Harner has been in the people space her entire career. She began her career as a people leader in one of the US largest contingent staffing companies leveraging her leadership experience in employee relations, recruitment, customer experience and sales. She continued working in Talent Development with roles at some of the world’s largest and oldest performance improvement organizations. Rachel is past recipient of a Brandon Hall Excellence Award for Best Results of a Learning Program. She is currently Regional Director at InsideOut Development, an international leader in workplace coaching. For the past 25 years, InsideOut has been providing Fortune 1000 brands with workplace coaching. While building a culture of coaching is known to boost engagement and morale, it is in reality the single most powerful lever to increase results. By enabling your teams to deliver at their highest potential through coaching, companies can expect to increase sales, boost productivity and develop a truly engaged and lasting employee base.  Suzanne Frawley, CHRS, CPLP® has a recognized passion for setting people and organizations up for success. She is an elite Talent professional known for her success in developing talent strategy, performance management, leadership development, and coaching. With experience leading people, teams, and implementing global talent initiatives, Suzanne is adept at building strong organizational cultures, developing key relationships, and coaching/ partnering at all levels.
Suzanne currently serves as the Director, Talent Management for Plains All American, L.P. Suzanne’s prior experience includes leading the learning and organizational development functions for an Oil & Gas and Pharmaceutical companies. She also has held roles as an HR Business Partner, Regional Training Manager & Coach, and Sales Consultant. When she began coaching sales reps, she realized she had a passion for setting them up for success and has continued to hone her coaching skills throughout her career. Suzanne holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology, completed the Human Resource Specialist certification at Michigan State University, earned her CPLP® in 2013, is a NLP Master Practitioner & Life Coach, completed her ODCP (Organizational Development Certified Professional) in 2015, and is a Master Trainer in InsideOut Coaching.
