Topic: After a brief overview of the current trends and changes in today’s workforce, Amy Hart will facilitate an exploration of how Houston’s multi-generational and multi-cultural workforce has influenced:

Training programs – what are your lessons learned in adapting training to be more effective?
Engaging and managing remote employees – what best practices have evolved in your experience
Communication challenges – how do you support managers and team members in becoming more effective communicators with internal and external customers?

Speaker: Amy Hart is a speaker, trainer, and consultant specializing in helping employers large and small to build strong relationships with employees and customers through leadership and communication skills programs. She spent over 25 years as a marketer and training director in the insurance and financial services industry before starting her own company, Hart Training Connection, in 2011. Amy is currently on the faculty for Shell’s Foundational Leadership for Individual Performers Program, and is a past ATD president.
