Captivate 8 is a great tool for creating eLearning but how well can you use it to create responsive learning flexible enough for most any device? Isn’t it possible to create both at the same time? Of course it is, and it’s not really rocket science, but there are definitely design issues and crucial development issues that you must address before you open Captivate, and then put into practice during the process as well. Failing to address those issues results in lost money and productivity, and less-than-stellar learning experiences for your audiences. Captivate's new Responsive Design features are DA BOMB and you definitely want to know the ins and outs of this great new feature.

In this class, you’ll build a lesson one step at a time and know why each step is necessary. Together, we’ll work through the features that Captivate provides that will help you avoid the pitfalls and scale the hills to excellent learning. You’ll learn the best practices to use with Captivate that will help you create worry-free mobile learning that also works well on desktop computers.

The end result? You will learn about Captivate features you may not have known and have a real prototype lesson to take home and reuse as you wish!

Bring your laptops with Captivate 8 full or trial loaded and your mobile devices to test your lessons!

In this session, you will learn:

  • Implement a plan to deliver to both mobile and desktop learning experiences

  • Take advantage of Captivate’s built-in features to assist in the building of mobile learning

  • Build a lesson that works well on both desktop and on mobile devices

  • Take that lesson home and use it as you wish!
