As the head of the Facilitation and Delivery team at Cortland, a leading international property management company, Joe has spearheaded initiatives that have garnered widespread industry recognition. Under his stewardship, Cortland's Talent Development function was honored as a best-in-class L&D operation by the Association of Talent Development (ATD) in 2022. The team's innovative approach, exemplified by their new Associate Journey Model - R.O.A.D. (Recruiting, Onboarding, Advancing, Developing), earned them the National Apartment Association Excellence Award the same year. Furthermore, Joe and his team received the 2023 Innovator Award from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) for their outstanding contributions to advancing learning and development within the industry.

Jason Hughes has been with Cortland for 7 years and a total of 20 years in the multifamily industry. Jason is known for his expertise in facilitating engaging learning experiences and his strong commitment to developing associates. Over the past two years, Jason transitioned from operations to Talent Development, blending his operational insights with a passion for learning and leadership development. His extensive experience in creating effective training programs has enhanced employee performance and driven organizational success.
