ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Darby Starnes has dedicated most of her career to supporting the most important asset of any organization: its people. With experience implementing innovative people strategies and over 25 years of experience serving in the corporate and tech start up environments, Darby's expertise and guidance are backed by proven methods and fast failures that have created learning opportunities and translatable business results. Her recent accomplishments include implementing a comprehensive strategic plan and redesign of HR communities of excellence to improve effectiveness in employee recruitment, retention, employee engagement, and professional development. She was the president of the Diverse-abilities Employee Business Resource Group as a key part of the DEI initiatives to support an inclusive and equitable workplace for over 16,000 employees. She continues to expand her roles with an ever increasing focus on HR, organizational development, change management, people success, coaching, and mentorship.

Darby is an accomplished author and holds an MBA in Finance, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, as well as many professional certifications including CPTD, CCMP (Certified Change Management Professional-ACMP), PROSCI, ACC coaching credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CDE (Certified Diversity Executive), CDP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and Master's certificate in Project Management from Villanova University.
