Impact! Creating a New Playbook for L&D In The Digital Age

The digital age has created a massive increase in the speed and complexity of business, fundamentally changing the workplace and altering how we get work done. As new technology is integrated, workers at all levels are needing to reskill much faster and navigate more complex systems and processes. The corporate learning function is in a unique position to lead the transformation required in workplace learning, but first it must transform how it operates. The key driver behind the need for this transformation can be seen in how quickly the world of work is changing. It's beyond time for the corporate learning organization to reorient itself for the digital age and take a more proactive role in enabling business transformation. We are at an inflection point requiring a wholesale reevaluation of our structure, our tools, our capabilities, and the learning business model. It’s now time to radically reimagine corporate learning for our changing world of work. Join us for a refreshing new look at how L&D is well positioned to provide significant impact on business and the workforce during this massive job transformation.

Creating an Exceptional Learning Culture – Shining the Spotlight on Great Talent Development Work in Houston
What’s the secret behind creating an exceptional learning culture? Five Houston-area leaders in talent development will share their highly successful strategies during a panel discussion moderated by Jacque Burandt, President, Award-winning Results, and author of Create an Exceptional Learning Culture (ATD Press, 2019.)

In her research, Jacque found that organizations with exceptional learning cultures followed a five-step process: 1) develop a road map 2) align with strategic partners 3) create an anchor program 3) assess results and 5) celebrate and share success to create exceptional learning cultures.

This keynote session will be a special opportunity to hear from five stand-out leaders, and learn about each of their journeys, as they describe their success in the five steps to creating exceptional learning cultures.
