Description

In the month of May, approximately 13,500 talent development professionals gathered in Washington, D.C. to attend the ATD International Conference and Expo. If you were following the hashtags #ATD2019 or #ATDMoments, you know that the conference was a "wonderful few days of learning and connection". And If you didn't get a chance to attend, our June monthly meeting is the perfect opportunity to hear first hand from a few of the attendees. Join us as our chapter members recap their experiences and key take-aways from the event. 

Learner Objectives

At the end of this meeting, participants who were unable to attend ICE will be able to:

  • Identify the latest resources, trends and tools that were presented at the conference
  • Gather ideas and inspiration for your current TD projects and initiatives
  • Celebrate ATD Houston being recognized for Chapter Excellence

    Panel of Speakers:

    The panel will include ATD Houston members sharing their experiences at ATD ICE from different perspectives. The panel will consist of the following individuals:

    • Debbie Richards (Creative Interactive Ides, CTO | ATD Houston President-Elect) will share about Chapter Leader Day and Houston Chapter Recognition
    • Duncan Welder (RISC, Inc., Director of Client Services) will share about the EXPO and Exhibitor experience
    • Marie (DeCrescenzo) Wehrung (Rice University, Dir. of Organizational and Professional Development) will share about navigating the conference program and session selection along with an overview of forums
    • Tanesha Mosley (Maximo, Project Training Lead/Sr. Instructional Designer | ATD Houston VP Marcom) will share about attending as a first time Chapter Leader and resources for independent consulting
    • Sharon Lucas (CDT3, President | ATD Hosuton VP Membership) will share about the 1st time speaker experience, the process, benefits and lessons learned plus value proposition for attending ICE.
    Robert Cocheu (ATD Houston VP Professional Development) will also share insight about the CPLP/APTD Certification and upcoming study groups of ATD Houston.


    Event Registration and Cancellation Policy: ATD Houston has implemented Event Registration and Cancellation Policy for its paid events. If your registration fee is not paid within 15 minutes of signup, your registration will be cancelled and you will have to signup again.
