Description:

Join your fellow Mortgage/Financial industry L&D leaders for a square table discussion on managing learning and development programs in a fast-changing industry.

As Talent Development professionals, we’re often challenged with not only how to stay abreast of industry changes but also how to release that new information to employees. In this forum, we’ll share our ideas on every aspect of learning and development from onboarding to offboarding. The main objective of this session is to explore and discuss our approaches to adapting learning and development programs to stay current with the constant industry changes.

Use this forum as an opportunity to connect with and learn from your peers in the industry. This is your opportunity to gain new insight into any of the challenges you’re facing as you head the management of learning and development programs.

Meet Your Speakers:  

Susan Barnhill

Susan Barnhill has served in the mortgage industry for over thirty (30) years in different capacities – originator, processor, closer, underwriter and operations manager. Currently, she is the Vice President of Training for Cornerstone Home Lending, Inc. Her BBA with a concentration in Real Estate/Finance was earned from University of Texas at Arlington. Susan is a certified DISC facilitator as well. A native of the Dallas area, she currently resides in Kingwood, Texas.



Jennifer Burch

Currently an Instructional Designer for the last 6 years, Jennifer Burch is located in Houston, Texas. She is a Learning and Development professional at Cornerstone Home Lending, Inc. and holds a degree from the University of Houston-Downtown. Jennifer brings over a decade of experience from the mortgage industry. Her main areas of focus are on microlearning deliverables such as, regulatory processes, learning strategies for a multi-generational team, and successful integration of technologies.
