General Meeting: We Deliver for You! Exploring Different Training Delivery Options

Talent Development professionals are often challenged with selecting the most meaningful way to help employees or clients learn skills and knowledge that help them better contribute at their workplace. What are some of our choices? Classroom learning is familiar, but not always the most cost effective. On-the-job training (OJT) is effective but not always practical. Online learning is popular, yet development timeframes can be too long.

Join our engaging panel to hear perspectives from both corporate trainers and consultants regarding various training delivery options, how to work with business leaders to ensure effective methods are chosen, and what additional considerations, such as local culture, should be taken into account.

You will take away a deeper understanding of multiple training delivery options and potential questions to consider when making decisions about training programs.

Learner Objectives

In this session, participants will:

    • Learn how to select the delivery option that will enable effective training experience
    • Learn how to ask questions of business leaders to get to the heart of what needs to be delivered and how
    • Understand the 70-20-10 model and how it impacts the selection of training delivery
    • Gain knowledge about various delivery methods including eLearning and group learning
    • Discover how to adapt training for global implementation by taking local culture into account
