Opening our Annual Volunteer/Membership Showcase, new ATD Houston Power member, Dr. Rob Pennington will share his insights and experience on “The Little Known, Life Changing Rewards of Volunteering” to encourage each of us to take the next step in getting the most out of our ATD opportunities.

Psychologist Dr. Rob Pennington is known as an award winning speaker, trainer and author.

But less known, he has also been an award winning volunteer leader his whole life.

The University of Texas at Austin recognized his volunteer leadership of numerous college service organizations with an Outstanding Student Award. The National Speakers Association named their highest volunteer award after him: The Pennington Award for Excellence in Recognition of Extraordinary and Selfless Service.

Bring a friend and join us for another fantastic ATD Houston experience where you can learn all the many ways you can take your career further through ATD Houston's many volunteer opportunities.

What is the purpose of belonging to a professional organization?

Building a stronger local and national professional network, understanding the local industry, and developing new skill sets that would not normally be captured in our regular 9-to-5 jobs.

The Annual Member-Volunteer showcase will allow members to meet other chapter members, opportunity for business networking, and interactive activities with board committees. This a great event to meet and engage with ATD Houston Board leadership, consider volunteer opportunities for 2018, and an evening of free beer and food.
