Organizational Change, like Learning and Performance, is often met with resistance when establishing quantifiable, change success criteria. This session will explore critical challenges to attaining successful change outcomes. The facilitator will lead a collaborative discussion that lays a contextual foundation for understanding the challenges and successfully defining change success. Participants will walk away with an effective strategy to quantify and gain buy-in to measure change success.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the barriers that limit the ability to measure change outcomes
  • Identify how the barriers impact your organizational change initiatives
  • Learn a strategy to quickly identify change success criteria
  • Learn the process to gain buy-in to implement the strategy

Speaker: Le Criss Smith

Le Criss' coaching and program development acumen are rooted in 10 plus years of work in complex organizational environments ranging from mergers and acquisitions to systems integration. Over the years, he has gained experience working in a variety of roles and board membership for professional organizations. His expertise includes empathic leadership, communications, self-exploration, competency mapping, skills building, collaboration, and mindfulness at work.

Previously, Le Criss served as Senior Director of Organizational Change and Learning for The Center for Learning Performance; a professional development startup focused on designing innovative learning technology. In his prior role, he served as Senior Organizational Change Leader for a midstream oil and gas company. As a change thought leader, Le Criss is hired to speak and facilitate impactful topics that include change ROI, change inclusion, change readiness and change leadership. Recently, he facilitated a workshop on change inclusion and empathic leadership during the 2016 Association of Chinese American Professional’s Diversity Summit—May 2016.
