Webinar: Selling Ideas Through Visual Stories

  • November 17, 2016
  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
  • Webinar

Webinar Description:  Neuroscience tells us that two powerful tools — storytelling and visuals — capture attention and drive people to action. The best storytellers do this because they remember one important fact; people are 22 times more likely to remember a message or data if it’s wrapped in story. So why not present that way?

Join us on November 17th for a live webinar with visual storytelling expert Kevin Campbell of The Presentation Company. Campbell will share how to turn dry facts and data into audience-grabbing visual stories. Kevin will demonstrate through real stories why storytelling is so effective in selling ideas and driving the business conversation forward. He’ll also prove that anybody can piece together their own ideas (without a graphic artist or speechwriter) into a memorable and influential story using 4 simple signposts.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • What makes fantastic business storytelling (with examples)
  • The 4 signposts of classic storytelling
  • How a simple tool can pull scattered ideas into a powerful, memorable, visual story.

Learner Objectives:

  • Shift from being a data collector to a strategic communicator.
  • Understand how to inspire your audience by creating authentic stories as you set the scene, introduce characters, present conflict and ultimately, bring resolution.
  • Learn to pace your presentation with active story headlines and visuals to create optimal flow of information to your audience.
