Change Leadership
Exploring Different Perspectives

HODN/ACMP/ATD Houston
2016 Joint Panel Discussion Event

“Rapid organizational change is the No. 2 leadership development challenge in the next two to five years—and, logically, change is the second most important topic for leadership development.”  –CCL LEADING INSIGHTS STUDY, 2013

In John Kotter’s book “Leading Change”, he defined Change Leadership as concerned with the driving forces, visions and processes that fuel large-scale transformation versus change management as a term referring to a set of basic tools or structures intended to keep any change effort under control.

Join us for this joint panel discussion where experts representing ACMP Texas, ATD Houston, and the HODN, will explore the what, why and how of effective Change Leadership.

This event is a great opportunity to learn about these local professional organizations and network with others driving change in Houston. Come early for dinner and networking at 5:30pm. The panel discussion will begin at 6:30pm.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explore different facets of and approaches to Change Leadership
  • Understand differences between effective and ineffective Change Leadership
  • Be able to articulate the characteristics of an effective Change Leader
