Topic:  Gain the inside view of the exciting new book Don’t Run Naked Through the Office termed “solid, logical, clear ideas. Relevant to folks in various walks of life” by General (Ret.) David H. Petraeus, former Director of CIA and Commander of US and International Security Assistance Forces-Afghanistan.

Not every company offers a workplace oriented toward your success. Find out how to characterize in less than 5 minutes the four types of work environments you may encounter. Determine your risk and develop a plan to navigate the challenges of each environment. Recognize and avoid the traps and manipulation techniques used by bad bosses. And, create a self-managed approach to professional development when reinforcements are nowhere in sight.

That’s a lot of information to tuck into a short amount of time, so come prepared to engage.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the key elements of a plan to minimize the risk in navigating the challenges of each workplace environment.
  • Recognize common foundational elements of the traps and manipulation techniques used by bad bosses.
  • Describe the key elements of a self-managed approach to professional development.
