Speaker: Michael Landrum and Juliana Ashley
Michael has over 30 years of experience working in various aspects of talent and leadership development. He which provides coaching to leaders, assisting them in reaching their full potential in the areas of self-awareness, transition, and executive presence. He also works with high potential employees to create and execute a career path based on their skills, interests, and competencies. Throughout his professional career, he has enjoyed serving as a catalyst in the development, growth and success for his employees, client groups, and those he has mentored and coached within the organization.
In a prior role (Director, Talent Management for a Fortune 500 company in the energy industry), Michael played a major role in the identification and development of critical talent for the company. This included leadership and career-path coaching with both leaders in the organization and high potentials employees. As a result, his clients continue to sharpen their leadership skills and competencies and ascend within their organizations.
In addition to coaching in an individual setting, Michael also has a passion for facilitating leadership development in group settings. He has facilitated sessions with participants of all levels in the organization, from individual contributors to senior executives. He is a seasoned leader and facilitator who consistently achieves positive results in both small and large group discussions.
Michael has successfully completed International Coaching Federation, ICF, Accredited Coach Training and is a member of the ICF Houston Chapter. He is also certified in the Myers-Brigg Type Indicator and the FIRO-B assessments.
Juliana Ashley, J.D., is an Executive Coach and Attorney. She specializes in communication, presentation skills and career transition. Juliana brings over 20 years of experience in law, the corporate world and television reporting to her coaching. She has worked with executives to develop presence, communicate effectively and build relationships that are critical to success. Juliana also has experience assisting emerging leaders to successfully navigate career transition and to develop communication skills and strategies that will help them take their career to the next level. She enjoys working with professionals and leaders at all management levels and has worked with clients in the areas of Healthcare, Oil and Gas, Engineering and Construction, Financial Services and Law.
Juliana’s diverse background enables her to serve her clients in developing strategies for career development by thinking outside the box and gaining a new perspective on their situation. She has over 10 years of experience as an attorney working in both civil litigation and as a prosecutor. She worked as a television reporter for the Houston Astros and as a corporate sales specialist. She also has a background in comedy improvisation and uses her skills and knowledge in improvisation to help her clients develop strong presence and presentations and to understand the importance of connecting with their audience, whether from the podium in a large venue or from the front of the room in a board presentation.
Juliana has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Trinity University and earned her J.D. from St. Mary’s Law School. She is a member of ICF and ICF Houston Chapter.
