Topic: Project Evaluation Methods

The objective of this session is to describe a number of project evaluation techniques that can be developed and used in an organization to evaluate projects with the intent to modify project processes to more effectively support project goals.

Learning Objectives:

• Learn various evaluation techniques for learning solutions
  
• Develop an initial understanding of developing sustainable learning solutions
  
• Learn how to develop project goals beyond the first version of a learning solution
  

Speaker:  Marion Smith - Texas Southern University

Marion S. Smith, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of the Jesse H. Jones School of Business at Texas Southern University where she teaches courses in Management Science and Management Information Systems.

Currently, Marion is on the board of directors of Jewish Family Service (JFS). She serves on the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) committee – newly formed committee to establish a comprehensive framework that would guide the development and implementation of a CQI system.

Dr. Smith holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research and Statistics from the University of Houston. She also earned an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
