Frequently Asked Questions:

Where is the conference being held? The conference is being graciously hosted by HCC's West Houston Institute at 2811 Hayes Rd, Houston, Texas. Parking is available on site. Please review the parking lot guidance here.

What time does the conference begin? Registration tables will open at 7:30am and the program will begin at 8am. The conference will conclude at 5pm with a reception to follow.

Will there be food? Light breakfast options, lunch, and a variety of snacks and drinks will be provided for conference attendees throughout the day.

Where can I find the conference schedule? The easiest way to find the schedule and plan your day is through the conference app. You may also find the conference schedule on the ATD Houston Chapter website under Upcoming Events TD Conference

How do I get the conference app? Emails with an invitation link to download the conference app was sent to all conference attendees. You may also find the app:

  • Download the Sched App from the App Store or Google Play
  • Search within the Sched App to find your event: "ATD Houston 2026 Talent Development Conference and Expo"
  • Sign up or Sign in to access your event
  • Subscribe in your calendar program to see this event alongside your meetings.

Can I earn continuing education units for attending the conference? Yes. You may be eligible for up to 6 credit hours for attending the conference. Please let the registration table know that you would like CEU credits and a certificate of attendance will be sent to your email.

How can I participate in the Community Giving Back part of the conference? This year, ATD Houston is partnering with Books Between Kids. 

At Books Between Kids, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to discover the joy of reading and the limitless potential it unlocks. By aligning with our mission, you can profoundly impact the lives of Houston's children while fostering connections with our supporters: YOUR BOOKS MATTER. Donations can be made directly to Books Between Kids or you can bring in new and like-new Pre-K through 5th grade books including multilingual, non-fiction, board books, leveled reads and chapter books. Is there a refund policy for the conference? Conference registrations are non-refundable.
