ATD Houston is looking for great leaders! 

ATD Houston is a professional society, and is also a real business that must be run in a professional manner. If you have been seeking ways to grow and develop in the talent development profession, here is your opportunity. 

We are holding a call for nominations for our 2024 Board of Directors.

Timeline

  1. Applications due:  9/8/23 at 5 pm CDT.
  2. Membership voting period:  9/15/23 to 9/25/23
  3. Board announced on 10/05/2022 (at the ATD Houston Talent Development conference)

Requirements

All Board Members are required to be members in good standing with both the ATD Houston Chapter and ATD.

Estimated Time Requirements per month:
  • Attending board meetings(alternating face to face & online) : 2 hours plus travel time
  • Attending quarterly strategic planning board retreats: Up to 4 hours per event
  • Attending committee meetings: 1-2 hours plus travel time
  • Attending monthly chapter programs: 3 hours plus travel time
  • Communicating individuals responsible for website, administrative office and committee members about routine issues: 2-4 hours
