Conference Tracks

Below are descriptions of the three tracks for the ATD Houston 2022 conference. The track descriptions are broad categories, but all focus on the conference theme, Reinvent. The recent pandemic highlights our world of change; these tracks offer interactive workshops to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviors of the conference attendees as they reinvent themselves and the talent in their organizations.

Reinventing Yourself

The focus of this track is how the participants can improve themselves. This is a self-development track where participants will learn knowledge, skills, or behaviors that will benefit them individually. This includes but is not limited to areas such as career, personal, and professional development; personal branding; social connections; and building resilience.

Reinventing Others

The focus of this track is the talent development of others. This track is for talent development content where participants will develop knowledge, skills, or behaviors they can apply to help improve others. This includes but is not limited to areas such as facilitation of learning, adult learning, curriculum design, hybrid or virtual training, eLearning, mentoring and coaching others, just-in-time learning, onboarding new employees, and working in a team.

Reinventing the Future

The focus of this track is talent development enablers. This track will share technology, tools, or new concepts or theories that will enable participants to be more effective at future talent development. This includes but is not limited to areas such as technology tools, change management, D&I, speed of change, culture of the organization, hybrid work environment, evolving work culture, and being part of a global society.
