Speaker: Sharon Lucas offers over 28 years of experience in the field of Organizational Learning and Development, Facilitation, Executive Coaching and Instructional Design. Sharon began her training career working for a private investigator, training others on how to detect cellular fraud and dealing with at least one kidnapping! Since then, Sharon spent the first part of her career working internally supporting and building the learning and development function and the second part of the journey as an outside consultant.
Sharon has designed and facilitated Train the Trainer Sessions, Leadership/Management, Coaching, Team Building, Sales Training, Time Management, Business Writing, Presentation Skills, Customer Service, Sexual Harassment and Hiring courses. She has worked with executive teams creating mission and vision statements for their organizations. Sharon has also consulted with companies to help establish competency-based succession planning, hiring and training processes and executive presentations. In addition, Sharon has also been very active in designing and conducting virtual webinars for organizations including PBSJ – now Atkins, GE, Synchrony Financial and Eaton.
Sharon’s ability to design and facilitate gives her a unique perspective to create and deliver sustainable and relevant learning experiences. She is a highly energetic, interactive, fully engaging facilitator who believes that participants need to be involved in the learning process to ensure the application of the content.
